Installation Question

Forgive me if this sounds like a stupid question.

Is there any difference in functionality or administration if VirusScan Enterprise is pushed out via ePO as opposed to the client being  manually installed? I just want to make sure I'm installing it in a manner that will minimze the administrative burden here, I don't have much experience with McAfee yet.

To put this in context, at my last company we used Trend Micro, if the AV client was deployed via the administrative console, it was fully administerable from the console. If the AV cliet was installed manually, it would recieve definition updates (not scan engine) and report to the administrative console, but nothing else.

As long as the client has a manged epo agent on it and the system is communicating with epo fine, it doesn't matter how you install VSE.  It is the epo agent that handles policy enforcement once products are installed.
