Impact if endpoint's Name and IP changes

Could someone please help in understanding what will be the impact if any endpoint's Hostname and the IP Address changes. 

Do we need any action to be done in ePO side?

Thanks for the post.

Mostly they will stop communicating with ePO.

In worst scenario you need to deploy McAfee Agent on the machines.

You can try testing with one machine and check.

Hi,

Good morning,

I would like to confirm: You are changing client machine's 'Host name and IP address' not making any changes to ePO server. If my understanding is correct then you don't need to do anything.

Agent will communicate to ePO server based on machine's Agent GUID. At next ASCI, client machine's property (new IP and name) will be updated in ePO server.
