How to uninstall McAfee Agent from computer via ePO

I wanted to remove/uninstall an agent from a computer. One post mentioned that you can select the computer in ePO > Actions > Directory Management > Delete. All that did was delete it out of ePO but the agent is still installed on the machine.

Hello Walmpert,

Follow the below process to remove the agent from the endpoint using McAfee ePO

1. Login to McAfee ePO console and go to system tree under systems 

2. select the system where you want to remove the agent

3.click on actions ,select Directory management and select delete

4.A new windows comes asking for confirmation select the sub option which says delete the agent in next agent server communication

Will this also uninstall any other McAfee product it has installed? (VSC - Endpoint Protection)

It will uninstall only the agent
