How to programmatically change ePO server authentication type?

Hi,

I'm looking to see if there is any way to programmatically do the following changes/configurations -

From the ePO server, select Menu -> Configuration -> Registered Servers

Highlight the ePO/Rollup server

Select Actions -> Edit -> Details tab

Set the Authentication type to 'SQL authentication'

Set the SSL communication with database server to 'Always use SSL'

Our ePO server is a windows server so a Windows compatible tool is preferred.

TIA

You will need to follow this KB to set up SSL database connection.

Re: How to programmatically change ePO server authentication type?

Thanks, I just wanted to know if it's possible to set 'SSL Communication" option programmatically.

The KB you pointed to is still using manual steps.

Not through epo, you still have to import the cert into java, but I suppose you could script that out.

Re: How to programmatically change ePO server authentication type?

So back to my original post, the two settings below have to be manually done, and no way to script or automate it (let's ignore the certs steps, you can assume they have been taken care). Right?

Set the Authentication type to 'SQL authentication'

Set the SSL communication with database server to 'Always use SSL'
