How to make a fail over for standalone McAfee ePO

Dear All

I want to make a fail over for my ePO which is a stand alone ePO server. Below are the details of the ePO server

  • ePO = 4.6.2 Build 234 Standalone
  • SQL 2008 with SP3 (installed on the same ePO server)
  • Windows 2008 SP 2 (32 bit)
  • Machine reporting to the ePO 5000 +

Is there a way I can make a fail over now for my ePO.

Re: How to make a fail over for standalone McAfee ePO

ePO is cluster-aware. True fail-over would require a Windows cluster installation of ePO.

Otherwise i'd suggest making regular backup via McAfee Support article KB66616.

That article tells you all you need to fully recover.
