How to create user-based polices in ePO

Hi,

I did not find any guide on how to create user-based policies in ePO, i created LDAP sync but the assignment policy rules are empty

Hi,

yes, this is true, because VSE does not support user based policies. Disk encryption, File and folder encryption, DLP and so on are supporting user based policies.

VSE does not! Therefore product selection dropdown list is empthy.

Hi,

it depends on the products you are using in EPO. Not every product supports user based policies. If there is a extension for a product installed which can be configured using user based settings, you can decide which type of Policy Assignment Rules you can define.

I am using ePO 5.1.1 with VirusScan 8.8

When i mark system based i dont see users - its working

When I mark user based i dont see polices - empty as attached above picture, i mean i cant choose products
