How to add additional licenses to ePO

I have purchased additional McAfee Total Protection for Endpoint licenses n(resulting in new grant numbers) due to growth and do not see a way to check them into the ePO console. I have been audited on a regular basis and would like to know if there is a way to check in all of the different grant numbers/licenses I have purchased so that I am not having to manually add separate grant numbers together to determine how many licenses I actually own.

Hi you can ask McAfee support to merge your different grant ID.

Re: How to add additional licenses to ePO

Hi, sorry for reviving this old thread.

Lets assume I want to add e.g. additional systems with application control. Hence this thread has become a bit aged and I couldn't find any information specifically for application control, I just wanted to make sure if after ten years the following still would be the right way to do this:

  1. I order the SKUs at a reseller eg. ACDCKE-AA (for a specific amount of PCs) and ACSCKE-AB (for a specific amount of Servers)
  2. I receive a Grant ID for the new order
  3. I ask McAfee support to merge the new Grant ID with the existing one

Thanks a lot in advance!

Re: How to add additional licenses to ePO

It is still valid, you need to merge everything into one grant number as well as merge any license keys into one license key so all your products show up in software catalog.  For that you need an open service request.

However, when you log into the download site with one of your grant numbers, by the license key you will see an option to group your grant numbers.  You can see if that does what you want.  It might or might not, depending on whether it also merges the license keys.  If you have multiple keys, you can test by using each license key one at a time in server settings, then update the software catalog.  If you are missing some of your products, try the next license key.  If you find one that has all your products, use that, otherwise that would possibly need to come to us for license merge request.
