How do I remove the "Migrate to McAfee Endpoint Security Today" notification from ePO

Since August 2018, I've had a notification to "Migrate to McAfee Endpoint Security Today" in ePO. Other notifications like software updates available either clear themselves, or have a "clear" link/button (I don't recall which). This notification doesn't seem to have any options to dismiss.

(Note: I've already migrated to ENS a while ago).

Hello,

Thanks for your post.

You need to remove the Endpoint Upgrade Assistant Extension from ePO.

Once the extension will get removed you will not be able to see any entries related to the Endpoint Upgrade Assistant.


So before making any changes please have a ePO and ePO Database backup with the help of the below KB article:

Hi billmoller,

The Support Notifications page is a continuously updated news feed that displays notifications received in the last 30 days. Check if you have applied any Tag to that particular update under  Support Center-->support notifications. Worth to check. Also see if you have "Endpoint Upgrade Assistance" extension checked in. If you have completely migrated to ENS, if you no longer required this extension, try to remove and check if that helps.
