Generic script errors can only be determined by putting mcscript in debug mode. See KB82170 for how to do that. I would also suggest opening a ticket with McAfee, as there may be some injection going on or other issues that only a mer can tell us. Please don't post any mer here, as they contain sensitive info that should not be made public on a forum like this.

In the MER is a remove-button to avoid such information, but anyway it is too large and I have to get an sr-number first. Here are some interesting print-screens.
and one more
Question for you - if you open up the Virusscan console and go to about, does it show the dat version there?

No, that's what is bothering me, cause the ePo-Server lists 1111 for this client.
Really not sure what's going on. Hope you already raised SR with our support to investigate further with requested logs.
Have to go thru our local McAfee-Support first (Switzerland). But now I have a second system with the same behavior, only this one showing dat-file version 1111 on the client about and dat-date 2/2/2010. but still failing to download the 9492.xxy.
What is the impact of a missing MCDATREP1000? The system not updating does not show this product under details in the epo-console, if i compare by products.
No impact, it is included in the dats now, so that would make sense it doesn't have it if dats aren't updating. As a possible workaround, you can download the dat executable from here:
https://www.mcafee.com/enterprise/en-us/downloads/security-updates.html
For VSE you would use the V2 dat file, but for ENS, use the V3 version. Run that locally on the systems having the issue and see if they then continue to update after that, or still fail again.
