I need to start changing our policies, i,e. On-access scan along with others like that that needs to be altered. If I start changing them I need to document what check boxes and other items were changed and when so it so if someone complains 2 months from now that something is causing a problem I can come back and tell them that it has been that way for 2 months and maybe we need to look at something else. I am thinking that the best way to handle this is to somehow export the current setting to xlsx file so I can document. Any suggestions?
You can export the policies, but they might not be in the format you want. It will be an xml file and will contain all the settings for the specific policy you export. It won't be very user friendly. Your easiest and quickest documentation would probably be to take a screenshot of the settings screens in epo for before/after the changes. ePO also has a policy history feature to view the changes that have been made in the latest versions of epo.
