Errors on startup screen on ePO 5.0

Hi all.

I'm getting these error on the login screen on new ePO 5.0 server:

MOVE_META - Unable to load native library:C:\Program Files (x86)\McAfee\ePolicy Orchestrator\Server\extensions\installed\MOVE\2.5.1.106\webapp/WEB-INF/lib/mfevmwproxyjni

VSEVIRMD2000 - Unable to load native library:C:\Program Files (x86)\McAfee\ePolicy Orchestrator\Server\extensions\installed\VSEVIRMD2000\2.1.0.169\webapp/WEB-INF/lib/mfevmwproxyjni

Any ideas ?

Was this an upgrade from a previous version, or a clean install?

I think

Every new version of the JRE (Java Runtime Environment) can potentially introduce binary incompatibilities,ePO 5.0 is incorporated with Java Runtime Environment updated to 1.6.0_39, it seems like its upgrade and JRE is faild to introduce native binaries.

This is a clean install.

But it seems to relate to the following:

McAfee MOVE Scheduler 2.5

McAfee VirusScan Enterprise for Offline Virtual Images 2.1

After removing these two, the errors disappeared.

I would guess that the extensions for these two had not installed correctly... do you use these products? If not then you don't need the extensions and you should be fine.

If you do, then I woudl try checking the extensions in again and see if the problem reoccurs: let us know if it does.
