EPO4.6 can´t open Agent Remote Log

Hello

I am runnding ePo Server 4.6.0.1029. on Server 2008 R2. So far everything is working fine. All the Agent Remote Logs on Server 2008 R2 and 2008 and Server 2003 i can connect successfully.

I have now installed Server 2012 and installed VirusScan Enterprise 8.8 Sp3 and Agend 4.6.0 3122. On this Server i can not connect to the agent log on port 8081. I get the message "The Website cannot be shown".

The agent seems to connect to the ePo Server but I cannot run any sheduled tasks.

In the agent.log I get the message "Did not find software ID EPOAGENT3000 and in the agent_error.log i get the message "Error starting Task Sheduler".

Has anyone got an idea what that could be?

Regards dundee

Re: EPO4.6 can´t open Agent Remote Log

Hi

when you select windows server 2012 and click "Show Agent Log" do you see a connecting tab, if yes what url do you see there?is ip of the machine, name of the machine or FQDN like( http://windowsxp46.abcd.com:8081/)

Also telnet the w2012 from your epo server machine.

telnet machinename.abcd.com:8081

Port 8444 failed

Port 80 failed

Port 443 failed

Re: EPO4.6 can´t open Agent Remote Log

when you clik show agent log and a new window or tab opens up, what error do you see from IE

1.Website denied the access

2.IE can not display the page >check connection

From these failed messages, I am afraid that ASCi is disabled, could you confirm that Agent to server communiction is going on?

Re: EPO4.6 can´t open Agent Remote Log

Maybe the firewall is enabled on your 2012 server? (By default it was also enabled on 2008 R2)

Re: EPO4.6 can´t open Agent Remote Log

The Server is in a domain and in the Gui of the 2012 server it says "Windows Firewall is off"

Re: EPO4.6 can´t open Agent Remote Log

If you try to open http://localhost:8081 from the 2012 server itself does the remote registry open?
