Hello, I have epo 5.3.2 on a windows 2008 standard server (not R2). Database is on Windows 2012 server. I want to upgrade my epo 5.3.2 to 5.10 (latest) and upgrade my sever to Windows Server 2019. What is the best possible route to do this. I have tried to upgrade 5.3.2 to 5.10 but it appears it doesn't support Server 2008 standard. I have also tried to install 5.3.2 on windows 2019 but it failed as well. I wanted to keep same server name and ip. What do you guys recommend I should be doing? Can I migrate my clients to report to new server with new ip/server name without having too many difficulties afterwards?

DO a DR process with supported Server like 2012 R2 , Once the DR process done , Initiate the Upgrade process.
Also refer the below KB article for ePO 5.3.2 JAVA which is KB89799.
Also for upgrade to version 5.10 please run the IIS Crypto tool and click on the best prctices, apply and reboot the machine.

You need to get to ePO 5.10 first because running an OS upgrade underneath an existing ePO installation is really not a good idea.
Once you have ePO 5.10 up and running you would then do a DR recovery install of that ePO 5.10 to the Windows 2019 server you want to finally use.
Tricky part is how to get from ePO 5.3.2 to 5.10...You might need to go through ePO 5.9.1 for example as an intermediate step.
Thank you for your reply!
I am trying to upgrade it to 5.9.1 now as an intermediate step but when I run the upgrade compatibility check. It gives me following warnings.

I don't know where to download these and how to install them. I can not find them in product download page or find any installation instruction. Could you send me the screenshot or link of the installation files?
Hello @nikhil1985
Thanks for you response.
Please go to the product download site and download the extensions:
to login you need a valid grant.
https://www.mcafee.com/enterprise/en-in/downloads/my-products.html
Also you can check the Software Manager in your ePO to check-in the extension.
Once you have the extension you can check-in them directly from the ePO Software Manager or if you are going for manual check-in after downloading the extension from download site, In that case please see the below screenshot:
You need to click on Install Extension and start the check-in process, You cal also download the extension from ePO Software Manager and then check it.
As mentioned in earlier responses, Please make sure that you have taken the backup of the ePO Server and ePO Database with the help of the KB66616 article.
