Jump to solution
I Updated the Mcafee on A Mac running 10.15.7 Catalina to Endpoint security for mac Version 10.7.5 , threat prevention version 10.7.5 (163), agent version 5.6.6.290 I only saw that from the down load section that there was an extension called ENDPM_LIC_106.1 which I installed , When Looking at the EPO server it still shows that this machine is running 10.6.7.101. What am I missing ??

Look at the epo version support, not the client:

Product Minimum ePO Version
ENS 10.7.0 ePO 5.10.x is recommended.

ePO 5.9.0 is the minimum.
ENS 10.6.0-10.6.1 ePO 5.10.x is recommended.

ePO 5.3.11 is the minimum.
ENS 10.5.4-10.5.5 ePO 5.10.x is recommended.

ePO 5.3.x1 is the minimum.
ENS 10.5.0-10.5.3 ePO 5.3.x1 is the minimum.

NOTE: ePO 5.10 is not supported.

ePO 5.3.x became End of Life on March 31, 2019.

Hello @User22317446

Thanks for your post.

I would like to request you to please try to send a wake up agent call with force option.

I can see that License Extension is available in Software Catalog:

What version of epo are you running?  If 5.10 and not running CU9, please install CU9 as that contains a fix for this issue.  It may take a few asci's for things to work out after updating epo and agent handlers, but it should resolve.

Additionally, that version is end of life, so you need to plan on upgrading soon.

The extensions provide back end support for a product in epo, including policies, queries, version support, etc.  If the extension is not compatible, things may not work properly.  Since epo 5.3 has been end of life for over a year and a half, we don't test extensions with eol versions of products for compatibility.
