A temporary workaround was required at work place to have a way to deploy manual DAT to servers which didn't receive the DAT from the EPO. So, I came up idea to download McAfee LLC - Downloads - Virus Protection - DAT Files website save it locally to the EPO server local drive
e.
This SuperDAT executable is registered as executable (8742xdat.exe /s ) in the EPO. I can manually run this executable on the remote server and EPO server it works with out a glitch.
Then, I am using server task to run a query to identify the problematic server and run sub task to run the external command.

The server task runs successfully. But when I check the EPO audit log for the external command task, its shows the {error code 49} which doesn't make any sense.

Command failed [Command: Manual Daily DAT /S] [Return Code: 49]
My expectation is that since the EPO Servers local drive where I've stored the 8742xdat.exe file is presented a share. So McAfee agents should be able to access the executable from the EPO server.
Any help to troubleshoot external command would be appreciated.
