Hi everyone,
Recently I noticed an issue in my ePO Server. System Name, IP Address and McAfee ePO Version started disappearing for managed systems in my system tree, while all other details are showing. And when clicking on a host it states there is an error "An error occurred while retrieving the requested data". Above mentioned parameters start disappearing when I run a "wakeup agent call" on existing systems.
I have checked the configurations in DB and the compatibility level is 150.
Solved! Go to Solution.
we have had some issues with system properties missing and this issues are resolved by updating to 5.1o Cu12.
On which update is your ePO?
Regards
Alejandro

If you have no updates at all installed, there are several critical issues that can affect this. There is an internal db cleanup task missing, which clears queues. After time things can get severely backed up. Second thing are some issues with the epocomputerpropsstaging table, where several of the updates have some fixes for that. That table is a temporary holding table for client properties till they get processed. If that table is severely backed up, then props don't get updated. You can get a count -
select count ( * ) from epocomputerpropsstaging
If that has millions or even tens of thousands of rows, you would want to truncate it before installing any updates.
truncate table epocomputerpropsstaging
All that being said, it may take some wakeups or collect and send props after everything is updated to work itself out. If the issue persists after latest updates are installed and everything else is working properly, you would want to open a service request to have us look at things deeper.

Since I didn't change anything on ePO server, SQL Database or the client/agent side. Why of a sudden I am facing this issue?

I am trying to install update 12 for ePO server. And the setup asks me to upgrade extension for TIE module for VSE. I don't have any TIE server configured in my environment, nor do I have an extension installed for TIE module for VSE.
I tried downloading this extension form downloads portal (with a grant number), but I can't even find this extension on the download portal.
Please assist.
I installed the updated extensions and packages on McAfee ePO server and then installed update 12 for ePO server. Now I can all the props as appearing in my system tree.
