RE: EPO 4 and VirusScan 8.5 deployment

I installed Agent 4.0.0.1345 but still doesn't show VirusScan data in the simple query.
However it keeps displaying this info when I click in the computer:

What date/time stamo do you see here as last sync?

have you checked the vse 8.7 extension into epo 4?

these are the zip files contained within the vse 8.7 zip

on epo

configuration
extensions
install extensions button
browse to files ... etc

without these you cant report on vse 8.7 correctly in epo

In VS 8.7 folder I found VIRUSCAN8700.zip that I installed as an extension. This solved my problems.

How do I configure ePO 4 to push out the 4.0 agent? When I go to deploy, my only selection is version 3.6

You must have administrator privileges on the Windows system to perform this task. The agent extension must be installed on the ePolicy Orchestrator server before the agent is installed on any clients.

1. Download both the agent extension, EPOAGENTMETA.zip and the agent package, MA400WIN.zip to the system containing the ePolicy Orchestrator server.
2. Install the agent extension:
a. In the ePolicy Orchestrator 4.0 console, click Configuration.
b. On the Extensions tab, click Install extension.
c. Browse to the location containing EPOAGENTMETA.zip, select it and click OK. The Install Extensions summary page appears.
d. Click OK to complete the installation of the extension.
3. Check in the agent package to the ePolicy Orchestrator repository:
Note: If installing on a computer running Common Management Agent 3.6, the package must be checked in the Current repository branch.
a. In ePolicy Orchestrator, click Software.
b. Click Check In Package.
c. Browse to MA400WIN.zip, select it and click Next.
d. Ensure that Current is selected in the Branch field.
e. Click Save.

Advice : you should reboot your server and be careful : the Winsystem ask you if you want to save the setup -> click Yes.

4. Create a deployment task or push the agent to client systems. If using the push method, follow these steps:
a. In ePolicy Orchestrator, click Systems
b. Select the target systems or groups.
c. Click Deploy Agent.
d. Select the version of the agent to be deployed
e. Type valid credentials in the Domain, User name, and Password fields.
f. Click OK
