We are getting ready to add a new ePO server (5.10) to our environment and I noticed in the documentation for registered LDAP servers it states "these credentials must be an admin account on the server". In an Active Directory environment that means Domain Admin.
Our current ePO server (5.9) has a Domain Admin in the user name field, but we would like to remove that dependency if at all possible.
Any clarity is appreciated.

I believe we would really only need read access. The product guide may be a little outdated because it also references openldap, which is deprecated and we don't use anymore.

Thanks! I'm going to try and set up a less privileged account in 5.9 and see if that works.
Good deal, let us know how it goes!
