Database permissions required - clarification

We are locking down permissions on the ePO database as per KB75766.

Although this would make sense, I just want to check - with regard to the permissions noted in bullet 3 (db_datareader etc), could you confirm that they need to be applied to *both* databases (5.10 creates a separate DB for the events).

many thanks,

Re: Database permissions required - clarification

Hi dmease27,

Yes it is required. Both the databases are interlinked if the ePO_Events database does not have appropriate access, we cannot read the events to display in EPO console.

That's correct , both are interlinked and permissions should be there.

So you are correct and mentioned KB is fine
