DXL broker and DXL client versions

Hi Heroes,

Just a quick question:

If I use DXL broker 5.0.1 (TIE 3.0.460 ova built-in version is 5.0.1), and use mcafee agent 5.6.2.209(bundled with DXL client 5.0.2.130), should it may have any compatibility issues? or what is the official recommendations? Will DXL broker version have to be higher than DXL client version? per my observation, it still works even DXL client version is lower than DXL broker.

The DXL client versions do not need to match the DXL broker versions. And it is ok for the DXL client version to be a higher version than the Broker version. The clients will still be able to connect and communicate to the 5.0.1 broker.

The official recommendation would be to upgrad the DXL Broker to 6.0 when possible

No,It should be fine, Also we have released the new version of McAfee Agent which is 5.6.4

It is fine to be on the latest version and it will communicate as well,

what is the official recommendations?
We always recommend to be on latest version.
