Re: DAT versions in "Master Repository Status" on EPO-Dashboard not conform

According to the image the last check was on the 19th... is the avert task still configured to run?

Good spot Joe.

How would I find out if the Avert  task is running?

Re: DAT versions in "Master Repository Status" on EPO-Dashboard not conform

Check the epoapsrv log on the epo server - you should see it trying to contact myavert.avertlabs.com on port 8801 every 15 minutes (by default.) If there's a problem I would expect it to be logged there. Errors may also be logged in the orion.log, I think - don't have one handy to chcek, sorry.

Re: DAT versions in "Master Repository Status" on EPO-Dashboard not conform

Could not find any references to MyAvert in any of the logs: is there any other way of knowing if the service is running: or how to restart it.

I could of course just restart the server: that seems too easy!

Re: DAT versions in "Master Repository Status" on EPO-Dashboard not conform

The avert task runs inside ePO, so the service that runs it is the Application Server service. By all means restart the three ePO services, or the whole machine if you wish - it can't hurt

Good old reboot did the trick: although it took a few restarts of the services to get it all going again.

Never underestimate the power of the reboot

Glad it's OK now -
