DAT reporting equivalent for ENS

Jump to solution

Hello,

I have checked the recommended daily tasks for the ePO and it does suggest several reports related to VSE and DAT, such as the VSE: Trending Data Dashboard and the VSE: DAT Deployment reports. Overall, the documentation seems to refer mainly the VSE as per link below

https://docs.mcafee.com/bundle/epolicy-orchestrator-5.10.0-product-guide/page/GUID-E3ABB96C-250D-471...

Now, we are no longer using VSE, with the exception of a few legacy systems, and we have now switched to ENS. What are equivalent reports related to ENS to be checked on a daily basis?

Many Thanks

The dashboards only return specified query results.  You can get the same query under queries and reporting.  Virusscan uses dats, ENS uses amcore content except for non-windows.  Non windows ens uses either dats or med-dats, depending on version of ens.  So you would need to customize any queries if you have non-windows systems you are reporting on.  There are ens compliance queries for amcore content in queries and reporting that you can run.

There are some default dashboards and queries for amcore compliance for ens.  On the dashboard screen, you should have a dropdown to change dashboard.  You can also create your own with existing queries.

Just to better understand, armcore is what replaces the DAT on the VSE, am I right? Regarding the dashboards, none of them does mention armcore, unless I should be looking at all the ones that refer to Endpoint Security. I am really looking into reports to be generated and sent by email rather than dashboards.
