under hklm\software\wow6432node\network associates\epolicy orchestrator\application plugins\viruscan8800, what is the plugin flag set to? When did the issue start? Have there been any patch update attempts or installs? You are at a lower patch and some higher patches require a minimum of patch 4 to be installed. If not, the patch install will fail and can leave the plugin flag set to 8 - see KB60593

The issue started when an upgrade was done on the ePO.
NB: The ePO is managed by an outsider, who at this moment I believe does not know how to handle this, hence my intervention. That said, could you lead to the an article which could help me in effecting patch upgrade?
