Create GPO to add McAfee Framework Service to Windows XP Exceptions

Good Morning,

I have been trying to create an GPO to add McAfee Framework Service to Windows XP Exceptions, but I does not seem to work.

The GPO that I created.

Network/Network Connections/Windows Firewall/Domain Profile.

I added inbound program exceptions.

%programfiles%\McAfee\Common Framework\FrameworkServices.exe:10.xx.xx.xx,192.xx.xx.xx:Test.

The McAfee Framework Service is showed up under Windows XP exceptions list, but the box next to it is unchecked.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you,

Re: Create GPO to add McAfee Framework Service to Windows XP Exceptions

Try adding 'Enable' keyword like so:

%programfiles%\McAfee\Common Framework\FrameworkServices.exe:10.xx.xx.xx,192.xx.xx.xx:Enable:Test.
