Communication between Client-ePO Server via FQDN throughout LAN/WAN/INTERNET

Want to communicate Client-ePO Server through FQDN.
As CMA uses FQDN/IP Address/Server NetBIOS Name/SPIPEFailover Registry Key,  to connect to the ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) server.
Here we would like to use FQDN for communication instead of IP

between Client-ePO Server for both LAN/WAN enviornment.
My FQDN is published with the ISP and is also used for other application and softwares.
My other application is currently working through FQDN
Im using Mcafee ePO 4.5 and Agent 4.5
The above settings has worked fine by doing changes in sitelist.xml found in C:\Program Files\McAfee\ePolicy Orchestrator\DB folder\sitelist.xml
I have replaced all server name and ip address with my FQDN address in ePO 4.0 in sitelist.xml file. The same setting is not working in ePO 4.5.
As per Technical Expertise its not possible, but with help from Technical Expertise i have done this task in ePO 4.0 with agent 4.0
