Clear agent guid

I have followed the commands to clear the agent guid (both via an admin command prompt and using regedit) but in both cases I'm getting 'permission denied'

What am I doing wrong? This is on agent 5.6.6.232, configured to use ePO.

I have followed this How to include McAfee Agent 5.x on an image but it doesn't work

Try temporarily disabling ma self protection.  If that doesn't do it, ens or vse access protection may be blocking it also.

Try temporarily disabling ma self protection.  If that doesn't do it, ens or vse access protection may be blocking it also.

Turning off agent self protection was all I needed. 👍
