Certificate error while accessing ePO console

ePO server is installed on AWS. We have a domain name and we want to use that domain name to access the ePO console. When we try to access the ePO console through the web browser, the domain name is resolving but the browser shows "Certificate Error". Please see the below imageePO-Console-Certificate-Error.png

Re: Certificate error while accessing ePO console

Hello @NHA

Thanks for your post.

By default we use self-signed certificate for browser authentication.

If you want to make changes please refer KB72477

Re: Certificate error while accessing ePO console

Hi,

Seems there is no trust relationship between the ePO server and the system opening the ePO console. Have you imported EPO certificate into IIS server or Certificate Server.

Re: Certificate error while accessing ePO console

You can follow the KB @Former Member gave you to generate a new certificate.  You will need to issue it to the domain name you want to use, but will also need to have subject alternative names that include the actual physical name of the server.  The url you put in the browser has to match the issued to value in the cert for it to be trusted.  When you configure the subject alt names, the first one you list there should be the one you want it issued to, whether it is the NetBIOS or fqdn of the server.
