Cannot delete client task assignment from subgroup

Jump to solution

I'm looking to test a change by creating a subgroup in ePO 5.10 Update 9 and removing one of the client task assignments. I am able to break inheritance from the parent group for the assignment, but the delete option is still greyed out.

I want to keep the testing to a subgroup vs a new group to ensure I have all the same Policies and Client Tasks assigned, except for the one I want to delete.

Is there a way to accomplish this? Thanks!

You cannot delete an assignment in a sub group that is assigned at a parent group.  You can only break inheritance and disable it or otherwise change the schedule. Also, any changes to the task itself affects the task everywhere it is assigned, so only scheduling can have different settings with broken inheritance.
