what is the Agent extension version are you using. If you are using Agent 5.6.0HF1264214 and below version than the option should work on Port 8081.
Note : ePO 5.3 is EOL (end of life), and out of support

As @LKS pointed out, that depends on the agent version you are running. What kind of errors do you get specifically? If the system isn't reachable or ports are not open, you will also not be able to pull up the agent log. Did you also verify that remote access to log is enabled? With the versions below the hotfix he mentioned, you should be able to pull up the logs. Otherwise you might need to use the single system troubleshooting. See KB91283
