Automatic Response in ePO 4.5

Is it possible to start a On-Demand Scan as a response to, let's say a notification of a trojan ?

no but you could bodge the same thing together using queries that run every 30 minutes on events with a server task that moves them into a group with a full scan  ( then a task with a wakeup (my chained tasks never seem to work)) then another query that searches in that group for the event ID of a finished scan and resorts them into the directory

I agree, but once you've set it up and checked its working ok you just ignore it and let it do it for you.

Its an annoyingly complicated way of setting it up, but it does seem to work... unlike chaining of tasks in server tasks which never seems to work robustly so I have to just make do.

Id get in there with your feature requests for epo 4.6 before they finally release it

This feature is in 4.6, as far as I know: it adds the ability to "run a system command" to the automatic responses, which in turn can run a client task.
