Any changes to be made in policies after upgrading the ePO to 5.3.1 from 4.6.7?

Hi,

Please let me know if there is any changes to be made in the policies after upgrading the ePO from 4.6.7 to 5.3.1.

I have the products HIPS, Drive encryption, DLP, MSME.

No changes required,if you want to configure same policies,than you should import the old policies..

No changes will be required if the doing an in place upgrade / migrate with the same host name and IP address..

The existing policies will work after the upgrade of the ePO version.

Hi,

we noticed some troubles with EP 5.3.1 and DLP 9.4. Policies are going corrupted. We see this behavior at four customers with up to 10000 endpoints. If you are using DLP 9.4 just check this.

With our internal EPO wie saw the problem whre HIPS gets no policy (clients shows always the default policy). This was fixed with EPO 5.3.1.

please note ePO 5.3.1 only supports DLP 9.4.1

do you know when the info about EPO 5.3.1 was added?? Last Change of the article was on 25. November.
