yes, please install CU2. This should fix your issue.

I've only come across a couple of server (in labs) that showed this as an issue.
With each lab server the tests were for destructive purposes so the issue was to be expected in these tests.
However, after saying this the article below offers some queries that can be used to verify and even correct the issue, if the issue is as described.
Some server tasks are stuck indefinitely showing 'in progress' and the EPODataChannelDataMT database table is excessively large

CU1 is contained in CU2, so the suggested update the article discusses should be active here.
Can I ask you to verify the server version please?
Login to ePO, go to 'server settings' and click (select) 'Server information', it should read 'Update 2'.

Instead of Update 2, It says version 5.10.0.2428.
I just went to the McAfee downloads page and saw Update 2 with a release date of today, Dec 11. I think that's my answer for now.
