Agent 5.6.2.209 install needed?

Need advice

I didn't install agent 5.6.2.209 for Windows (didn't seem necessary from the product notes).  Currently on 5.6.1.308.

Does removing them Software Catalog cause any issue?  Should I install 5.6.2.209.

No, Software Catalog is the place which shows all the products based on your License. Master Repository is the place where we dump all the packages. Removing package from Master Repository/ Software Manager will not harm your EPO nor the client machine.

Thank you for your post. Based on your current version MA 5.6.1 HF3 that addresses the below Vulnerability

Hence the urgency to upgrade to 5.6.2 is minimized, however, you may want to go through the release notes to understand if you have faced any of the reported issues that is resolved in this release.

McAfee's recommendation is to always stay in the latest version if you can 🙂
