significant risks

Security Scan Plus did a scan and found "1 Dangerous WebSite" and "1 Suspicous WebSite." How can I find information on the problems at these websites? One in particular is a forum where I occasionally post. I'd like to inform them of the problem so they can try to fix it.

Re: significant risks

Check the websites using

SiteAdvisor - http://www.siteadvisor.com/

TrustedSource - http://trustedsource.org/

WOT - http://www.mywot.com/

Norton SafeWeb - http://safeweb.norton.com/

Also, Security Scan Plus just checks your computer's memory, the browser history and browser cache. If you haven't got an AV program installed this is no substitute.

Re: significant risks

Thank you for the reply, Hayton.

I checked the site through each of the links you provided. None of them provided any specific information about threats. So I'm still wondering what was the basis of the statement about risks. Is it possible that someone who didn't like the content of the site might have made a false accusation?

Re: significant risks

It appears to be TrustedSource that is flagging the sites for some reason. If you wish to query the rating you can do so by contacting the SiteAdvisor team, or contact TrustedSource direct. Information on how to do so can be found here.

For localchurchdiscussions.com I note that the site is running an outdated version of vBulletin, which potentially leaves the site vulnerable to attack. I don't think the site has been compromised, however.
