Two questions about McAfee WebAdivisor

First question:

McAfee WebAdivisor claims to help me create safer passwords (I don't see how it works whenever I create password)

and protect password and save from identity theft.

As I thought password prtoection is managered by Browser, does the above-mentioned functions offered by WebAdvisor override Broswer setting as an extension?

Also I think is not acceptable if WebAdvisor can read my password.

Second Question:

Would you please scan website: again to confirm the dagerous site report, as a Chinese forum used by so many users, the website is not reported malicious before although it is do possible the website is now compromised given the fact it is in China.

Re: Two questions about McAfee WebAdivisor

 Hi @100kmeiyoule

This feature was removed, as you’ve pointed out. We (apparently) didn’t update the text on this About screen

We never did store (or read) passwords

      • As the customer entered their password, the system immediately converted it to a hash and stored the hash (again – the password was never known to anybody, including us).
      • When a duplicate password was entered, we again hashed the new password – and raised an alert if any hashes matched each other.

Please submit the website in for review.
