Questions about SAE ratings

Why circumstances allow for a site with dangerous downloads to be rated green by SAE+? The Product Guide says sites with a green rating  can contain individual download files rated yellow or red.

Also, why would a site containing exploits not be rated red? The rating actions allow you block exploits from yellow rated sites.

K3tg - that document doesn't discuss the items that I was asking about. The Product Guide mentions tells how to enable these features but does not mention the logic behind them.

Re: Questions about SAE ratings

The links on the page k3tg supplied have more links which explain the rating process.  The actual parameters they use I am sure are a confidential process.  Often a ratiing may appear to be illogical to you the user but you have to remember that this is largely an automated process and it takes a while for a website to be reviewed and then re-reviewed and things can change in between the two.

There is a link there on how to contact SiteAdvisor if you wish to ask them directly.
