I have tried many different settings, but I am unable to send and receive with McAfee installed. I uninstall and reinstall and everything works fine. As soon as I allow McAfee to update though, same problem. I now have it reinstalled without any automatic updates allowed. I really don't want to leave this setting, but I don't know what else to do. All problems started on 7/10, that was the last time I received email. Please help. I did a chat with a McAfee technician, but he couldn't figure anything out.
Things I've tried:
Different ports: 110, 25, 26 487, secured, unsecured, different combinations of. Although it was set to 110 and 25 right up until 7/10 and worked fine. And it works fine now, but I haven't updated McAfee since 7/14.
Listing the ports individually in McAfee as open.

Same thing is happening on all three machines in our house and as soon as I uninstall McAfee and then reinstall (not allowing updates), email sends and receives just fine.
Any insight would be much appreciated.
Can you post your version numbers of Security centre VS and Anti Spam.
Also have you got the chat service request number?
I will point a higher tech to you as nothing I can see will help.
I would think a setting in outlook is clashing as email works fine for 99.999% posters here.

I had a chat with my mom and she mentioned that craigslist has blocked her email address. She uses the same domain that we do, turkpage.com, it's a family website. Made me wonder, could McAfee be blocking my domain, not my email servers? And if possible, how could I check for that? I was getting email through my comcast account so that would make sense.

Let me know if you have any thoughts around the above. I sent a message to my domain host to see if any spam has been going out from my domain, waiting for that reply.
