Support has been made aware of this and other issues. There is a case where a mobile customer is receiving unreadable text as well. They ARE working on it.

On my machine, the menu list has eventually returned to normal, with two entries only:
Btw: There seem to be two standards for displaying the version number of WebAdvisor which have been mutually used in this thread. One version number is accessible from the WebAdvisor menu by selecting 'Options>About', the other number is accessible from the Firefox menu by selecting 'Add-ons>McAfee WebAdvisor (see more)'. Now it works here too... I had to delete the Addon in Firefox first, and after this there was the new version in the browser
