False Positive on my website

Jump to solution

Hello!

I'm one of the owners for Ruthless.se, a Swedish Gaming Community.

We are about 2500 members, and recently we got this from one of our members:

http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/ruthless.se

I was suprised since we never had this problem before, sure we have had som spammers but they get banned asap.

So could you please take a look at this?

Thanks!

Best Regards

Jonathan

Edit:

Seems like its only you guys. Been looking around:

I've run some checks on the site and mostly they find nothing.

VirusTotal has different results for the site depending on the format of the URL.

For "hxxp://www.ruthless.se/" it shows that only BitDefender classes it as a Malware Site.

For "hxxp://ruthless.se" it shows both BitDefender and Antiy-AVL class it as a Malware Site.

I can't find the site on any anti-spam blacklists but TrustedSource shows the site as High-Risk and gives "Spam URLs" as one possible reason. TrustedSource also flags the IP address as Medium-Risk in its Web Reputation section.

The site has not been submitted to SiteAdvisor for testing, so SiteAdvisor has no information about site links (see below) or downloads. I suggest you get the site tested. SiteAdvisor's current rating is coming directly from Trustedsource.

Site links : urlquery shows the site getting content from other sites. Any of those could trigger a warning on your site.

urlquery.net - ruthless.se links.jpeg

Conclusion : the rating could be caused by spammers on your site, or it could be for another (unexplained) reason. If you contact TrustedSource using the web feedback form at https://www.trustedsource.org/en/feedback/url they will investigate this for you.
