chrome ssl error, after ssl scanner enabled, client cert installed on IE

client certificate installed on internet explorer and Mozilla, https sites showing certificate issued by internal CA and sites opening without any error.

but chrome is not allowing https sites as your connection is not private. In the settings, we can find the page of intent explorer and the client root certificate is showing under "trusted root certificates". please suggest what can be done for chrome it should act like internet explorer as both are sharing same settings. chrome version is 52 and 57 also who are giving issue.

Re: chrome ssl error, after ssl scanner enabled, client cert installed on IE

Hi!

Did you import a new cert into MWG or was it generated on the MWG (self-signed)? Can you send a screenshot of the cert and its properties? Example;:

I'm asking because there are a couple of issues it could be.

1) You went to a CA, got a web server certificate and imported it into MWG -- this is bad because the MWG needs a CA cert, not a web server cert <- this would happen in IE too

2) If you generated it on MWG, depending on the version, it could be SHA1, Chrome does not like that. For versions 7.7 and higher, we use SHA2 for the cert generated in the UI

Best Regards,

Jon
