Windows Domain Membership - only 1 can connect

Jump to solution

Hello Everyone,

I am not sure if this is normal, but I am running a cluster of MWG ver 7.7

I've gotten the alert : The following domain(s) cant be contacted: xxx/com (Orgin : Authentication, ID 903, 27 times with in 78 minutes)

It seems that when I remove and join both of the vm's to the domain the circle turns green (both of them), but an hour later the which ever gateway I joined first turns red.

The Domain controller is in the same network and I can ping it from the troubleshoot page.

can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks

K

Hi Krunk,

It sounds like you're joining both MWGs to the domain with the same account name.

Each MWG needs a unique account name. When you join the domain, a computer account is created on the domain and we're using that "computer" when we validate user credentials.

Best Regards,

Jon
