Moved to Web Gateway for a faster response.

Re: Where to check the Webgateway reboot messages

Hello,

the folder you mention is reserved for "user-defined-logs", e.g. log files which are written from the rule engine.

You may want to look at

/opt/mwg/log/errors/

which contains the log files of all MWG services and includes error messages as well as status information, especially when a process was started.

The operating system uses default syslog capabilties and writes all logs to

/var/log

especially /var/log/syslog, /var/log/messages and /var/log/daemon (not all log files may exist).

Best,

Andre

Re: Where to check the Webgateway reboot messages

I have checked the logs /opt/mwg/log/mwg-errors but there is no log which tells that server is rebooted or system is going down.

Can u please exactly tell us the log which gives these information regarding reboot

Re: Where to check the Webgateway reboot messages

Hi Santosh,

Keep in mind that it is a linux OS. This command will show reboots and shutdowns: last -x

Linux last Reboot Time and Date Find Out Command

Information is logged in /var/log/messages
