Web Gateway: deploying to Azure

Jump to solution

Hi, All.

Please inquire whether there is a certain procedure for deploying the proxy server in Azure?

I searched for the documentation but did not find anything.

I tried to deploy the installation on a Hyper-V virtual machine with a VHD virtual disk, but after migrating to Azure, I did not have access to the new server.

With trying to access, recieving error on screenshot

Hi,

Hope you are doing well.

MWG Azure deployment is in radar and is not supported.

Thats strange.
There are exists the article https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/linux/create-upload-centos#centos-70 about migration to Azure, and as I know, MWG build on CentOS distro. Tried to use this article, but all links is broken in command lists.
And I have one MWG server in Azure, but it needs to be replased. Unfortunately I haven't further information about process of it migration to Azure, because it was done before me..

just 'cause we might be a fork of Centos, it doesn't automatically means we'll behave like Centos ;).

Thank you. I shall read that all, but now I'm a little busy by another task with ePo.

Will answer later about results.
