WGW 7.0 flash problem

Hi,

We are using McAfee wgw version 7.x.

I have encountered a problem when i browse to a flash containing website for a example like: http://www.msi.com/open/ the page does not load properly.

i have to refresh several times to see the actual website. it seems that our wgw does not work properly with all flash content websites.

Using FireFox 10.0.2

in the wgw logs i cannot find a log that can help me to pinpoint the problem just somthing like this:

[27/Feb/2012:11:38:31 +0100] "" ***.***.***.*** 200 "GET http://www.msi.com/open/ HTTP/1.1" "Business, Software/Hardware" "Minimal Risk" "text/html" 5194 "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; rv:10.0.2) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/10.0.2" "" "0"

Please advise

Thank you

Re: WGW 7.0 flash problem

Hi,

One way to solve this issue, is to a add *.msi.com to the Global Whitelist.

( Policy  => Rule Sets => Global Whitelist => URL Host Matches in List Global Whitelist )

Best regards
