VMWare RAM Sizing for 300 employees

Looking for some required memory guidance for a VM appliance configuration for the Web Gateway product. We have an office with about 300 users. Currently, they are using the hardware based pair (cluster) of web gateways. Since they are end of life, they will be replaced with VM appliances. The current VMware farm is somewhat memory constrained. We are looking to confirm the memory required for each of the two VMs. According to the documentation, 16G is minimum and 32GB is recommended. Can you help us confirm which is acceptable for a clustered pair of gateways that would support 300 users?

Re: VMWare RAM Sizing for 300 employees

Hi,

Hope you are doing well.

It is always better to go with recommended stuff  but 16 GB should be fine.
