V7 on older hardware

Im trying to find a document for recomendations on installing V7 on my older hardware.  I have stock 1900 and 2900 appliances.  Can i install V7 on these? Do i need a ram upgrade? is a ram upgrade recomended?

Also is there any stats on the requests for second for V7 on these appliances?

They will run V7.

If they have only 4Gig RAM, the suggestion is to put in at least 8.
