Since we only allow http via forward proxies, how do I update yum via forward proxy?

Re: Upgrading 7.1.0

Never mind! I found it.

Have to edit /etc/yum.conf file to add:

proxy=http://ip_addressSmiley Tongueort

Clear yum cache by:

yum clean all

Then issue:

yum install yumconf-7.1.0-mwg

& as suspected, it worked!!

Re: Upgrading 7.1.0

So ran into problems when tried to install using User Interface - Got stuck at the following:

McAfee update status.JPG

However using system console it downloaded all files successfully and installed the upgrade package.

Reboot and you are done!!
