We've been experiencing the following issue since 18th November:
Update Event triggered :An operating system error exception occurred with error code: 101 because the centralized updater tried to connect to crl.aol.com; origin:Updater; severity:4
According to a similar post back in July this is due to maintenance occuring on the server.
I was wondering if this is still affecting other people & whether or not there is somewhere I could check on the maintenance schedule myself.
all our update server show green right now. It might have been an intermittent error code. To be clear, the product will fall back to other available server automatically in case such as event is shown.
There's no place for you to check.
For the error codes themselves, the product refers to the Errors: Linux System Errors
Thank you for your reply.

If crl.aol.com is up, could there be another issue that we have missed?
Same error here as well and its still occurring. DNS does not resolve for crl.aol.com so that has something to do with this. Since I am using a mcafee maintained list, i think Mcafee needs to remove or update the URL for this list?
crl.aol.com is dead. The entry has already been removed from the Root CA list, but it seems MWG still remembers to fetch that URL and therefore still fails to download the CRL. A restart of MWG should eliminate the alerts.
