"The Webwasher logfiles are flat files and by default do not go into syslog. There is a utility available that allows to redirect a logfile into syslog, I gave it a quick try and it looked promising, but this also is not an official part of the product."
I need to get my log files over to my Splunk server. Maybe this utility could help me. Please tell me how to get it.
that's logger: http://www.cyberciti.biz/tips/howto-linux-unix-write-to-syslog.html a Unix command line tool, which needs to be put into a script I think.
Why not pushing logs to an ftp which is the same as the splunk server and let splunk consume them from a local disk - which would be supported ?
