Skyhigh SWG

Hi,

I just saw that any link to MGW on mcafee.com is now redirect to Skyhigh SWG.

I wonder if Mcafee is about to give up on MWG. We just set up MWG on our test environement and I'd prefere to migrate to SWG before lauching into prod, if it is possible.

Does anyone know more about this before I contact Mcafee support?

With the merge of McAfee & FireEye they're rebranding products into Trellix & Skyhigh Security lines of products.
As far as I'm aware, Skyhigh Secure Web Gateway should be essentially the same product as MWG with a swapped logo. 
At this stage at least, maybe we'll get some enhancements from Fire Eye products merged in 🙂

This is just a rename, as far as i can see:

I guess soon we will see that all Productlabels are chanced, as it happened many times to the MWG badge in the past.

Webwasher -> Cyberguard -> Secure Computing -> McAfee -> (now) Skyhigh

Well, the interface looks quite better ! 😄

I guess if we allready have MWG, we will keep it cause as far as I understand this is a different product:

"Today, we are thrilled to announce that McAfee plans to acquire Skyhigh"

But if Mcafee just give up on MWG... I'd rather swap to something with a real support.

Mind posting a screenshot or two if you've got Skyhigh SWG installed?

I keep my lab MWG updated to the latest available but it's still McAfee branded.

But isn't that more Unified Cloud Edge rather than typical On-Prem McAfee Web Gateway appliance?
